The host city
Rabat, capital of Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage city, blends imperial heritage with a resolutely modern, illuminated waterfront. Its walkable scale and cultural richness make it an inspiring stage for the Moroccan Lighting Days for Africa.
By air
Rabat–Salé Airport (RBA) is 10 km from the city centre. Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport (CMN) is ~1h20 away and connected to Rabat by direct train.
By train
The Al Boraq high-speed line and ONCF trains connect Rabat to Casablanca, Tangier and Kenitra. Rabat-Ville and Rabat-Agdal stations are in the heart of the city.
